It is strange. Drones are operating over Iran too but many are being shot down with what I believe to be loitering munitions. Why isn't Iran using these against some jets ? Ansarallah Houthi's in Yemen did use them quite a bit and were able to shoot down two F18's. US said they crashed while tried to avoid Houthi missiles. Houthis also shot down Saudi jets before.

Iran did come under comprehensive attack on their AA and AD capabilities from long ago. First time was in October 2024 by Israel. Then during 12 day war and then again during this war.

US and Israel have really high capability to strike AA and AD. Much more so than India.

I thought Iran took that into account that they would come under this kind of assault and prepared accordingly. I think some of iranian leadership maybe believed US/Israel would never risk war on Iran. Which was misled thinking.

Not sure what I saw, but modern jets do not carry out ground attack with guns. Too risky for an expensive aircraft firing its secondary armament.

I believe that a lot of the strikes on Iran are from SOW.
