The most concerning issue for the US is that no gulf nation will consider the US a reliable security guard after this war ends. For Israel, the biggest issue is that many will try to get the nuclear technology to create deterrence.

Trump is asking for Chinese involvement to open strait of hormuz, China must play it strategically, send a powerful force jointly with Russia and Pakistan, negotiate with Iran, open the Strait of Hormuz and claim we are doing it for world security and for peace, but also gurantee Iran security and make sure Usa Israel in the future are unable to attack Iran. They need military base in Pakistan and Iran to protect the economy route. They should also work with Russia Pakistan Turkey Egypt Iran and gurantee GCC security. This will reduce Usa role in the middleeast to only protection of daddy Israel. The conclusion middleeast will be free from Usa EU Quad GCC led world order and a new multi polar world order will take shape, this will safe guard the trade route, also bring EU Usa on board and gurantee their trade routes. The only upset power will be Israel.

The Israeli plans is for the middleeast war to continue, they want Nato and GCC to fight Iran, so Israel can then dominate the middleeast as the sole military power, destroy Hizbollah, Ansarullah and expand in to Lebanon, then slowly work towards greater Israel project.

War is not just IRI saving its government or nukes against US/Israel/arabs. It started as that by US-Israel but IRI turned into a hot military-economic war otherwise they wont be baragining or extorting over oil passing through Hormuz.

Chinese and Russians are actively supporting IRI, more than expected through highly critical SAT-NAV because of which IRGC knows enemy movements through live data and are so effectively deploying missile and drone attacks. Chinese are buying oil like mad from IRI even during the war so IRGC can continue the campaign unhurt. They are effective parties in this, which personally I never expected. Will these three effectively choking petro USD through Hormuz be so stupid that they will allow the enemy to create western supported economic hubs again across the hormuz ? or will the investors be so stupid that they will re-pour trillion USD into the region knowing that other side has the kill switch on the very foundation of economy in the region? KSA is already hinting towards using Red Sea-Suez route to avoid Hormuz and Houthi chokehold. As a matter of fact they will have leverage over UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait if they also use KSA's Yanbu-Suez plan.

This is the biggest factor the war wont stop, this will turn into a creeped up slow burning war like Russia-Ukraine post 2024. Strike here, attack there making sure the petro USD stays hostage. It will stop only when

(A) Ukraine war is stopped and Russia has fullu gained its oil/gas market share back.
(B) Chinese have made sure that military buildup around them in pacific is reduced to a fraction.
(C) IRI decalres nuclear capbility even if in ambiguity.

From browsing various videos in last few hours:
1) Pakistan's former Amb. to America Hussein Haqqani saying the Gulf / Arab countries had largely maintained neutrality and that really complicated the American attacks on Iran. Per him, Iran should not have attacked non military targets but the Arab countries have done a good job not declaring war on Iran.
2) The mass mobilization of Israelis is to grab southern Lebanon, hold onto it and annex it.
3) Pakistan is trying very hard to balance its relations/interests between Iran and Saudi Arabia but if pushed to a corner then may only help in defense of Saudi Arabia by blocking missiles and nothing more than as the public opinion in Pakistan is overwhelmingly pro Iranian. Besides, Iran is a neighbor and that cant be ignored.
4) As far as Israel is concerned, a ceasefire at a time when Iran has been pushed back decades is enough but to the Americans it would be a strategic defeat for their presence in the Middle East with the Iranian govt and its system with its lethal missiles staying.
5) Per Trita Parsi: A likely outcome could be some concessions/guarantees given to Iran in a resolution where Trump could declare victory and exit.
6) JD Vance is laying low and not openly supporting this war because he doesn't want to run his 2028 chances, aware of what happened to Hillary Clinton in 2008 and 2016 elections because of her support for the Iraq War.
