Iran should stick to attacking US bases in the Gulf thats a legitimate target. Maybe in the future guld learns its lesson if not Gulf than hopefully atleast Saudis do.

I disagree with most of this. The Arab regimes have been afraid to attack hitherto because they know Iran could annihilate their water supply and economy if the escalation ladder is ascended.

Furthermore, Bahrain itself could plausibly be overrun and have its leader expelled in favour of a pro-Iran leadership.

The risk calculus is far too great for the GCC.

I do agree that Israel wins regardless of the outcome of a GCC vs Iran conflict, but that remains a function primarily of GCC's own myopia.

I think targeting Qatar was a mistake. Reaction to UAE or Bahrain would have been different since they both signed Abraham Accords.

It looks to me like Iran doesn't have capability to strike targets at will in Israel, but does in GCC, and is trying to manage escalation dominance this way.

It is just not practically possible based on Pakistan's demographic makeup to get into a war between Saudi/Iran.
