I am confused why do Iranian leaders expect western nations to turn on their traditonal allies due to current war on Iran?

Every nation will look after their own self interest. This is the reality of the world. To expect anything otherwise is folly.

So why US is fighting in Irán right now?. Are you sure all nations follow their interests?. It was the US interests to kick this wasp nest?.

On the other hand. France makes fools of oneself. Macron gave initially a soft support to Israel, after closing the Hormuz Strait, he also suggested the rest of EU to send warships to escort ships, and finally after realizing how stupids are the demands of US to use someone's else ships and crazy agenda of Israel, Macron aligned with Spain and other hardliners opositors to this imperialistic war.

So, no. Not all nations are following their own interests. There are some with stupid morons that doesn't understand how counterproductive can be their own decisions.
