That will not happen. The best path for Iran is to bring China Russia Pakistan Turkey on board, negotiate a peace deal with Russia China Pakistan Turkey gurantee for Iran, GCC and Strait of Hormuz security, China/Russia then should be requested to open a military base in Iran jointly with IRI and gurantee the security of this region. Or else after the war Usa Israel GCC will work together to squeeze Iran and we will face another war down the road.
Those countries are all already on board, Russia has no ability to do anything within a few km of their border right now. China always has a goal of doing the opposite of whatever the US does and supporting those on board but they are wary, far away and don't the support network established in nearby countries like the US does, and they are focused on bullying the Philippines and claiming any land they can in the south China seas.
Turkey don't give a shit, and Pakistan offers what?
Iran needs to find ways to benefit financially from a global economy, all shipping passing through is charged heavily, contracts for oil to all, appease the Americans with some nuclear promises in exchange for as much as they can get. Build up the economy,
For me it was not that, we know most of Iran's air defence are gone, everyone can agree with that. What is very interesting (with the danger of sounding like the Indian CDS here) is not how many where lost, but how they were lost. It looks like Iran tracked its heat trail if I am not mistaken?
No one has done that in combat (happy to be corrected here), so a weakness has been found. That, for me, is the main takeaway
Every aircraft gives off a significant heat signature, every aircraft can be taken down this way.
I will assume complacency took place here, i.e they were running the same flights daily with not much deviation in route, and/or it's flying fast and low which yet again could be complacency in regards to Iran having almost no air defense.
Either way the footage ends when an explosion occurs, surely if there was significant damage or even a kill the footage would continue so it's safe to assume the seconds after the explosion you only see the plane flying away. Doubt it happens again
