Really makes you wonder what Iran actually launched toward Diego Garcia.

Up until now, the longest-range ballistic missile they’re known to have, like the Khorramshahr-4, tops out at around 2,000 km.

If it really reached that far, then they’ve had something much bigger all along.

Every country should have this insurance policy in place. Covertly or overtly.

When the Americans point fingers at Pakistan, they know that Pakistan is working on acquiring this insurance policy at all cost.

CNN claims the US/Israel have bombed 77% of the identified tunnel entrances to Iran's SSM bases

even if all these bombings were successful:

- Iran is already working to excavate some of the tunnels, and has restored access to some of them

- it means almost a quarter of them (> 25 tunnel entrances) are still intact and not bombed at all

The question is how many tunnels are not even identified and no one knows about them.

2000 KM is just a deception range set during JCPOA, it has no meaning. IISS estimated K-4 and Sejjil-II to be ranging 3200-3500 KM with regular <1 tonne warheads. To show their ranges at 2000 KM after JCPOA, IRGCASF started advertising them esp K-4 with ~2000 KG warhead to compensate for JCPOA set 2000 KM barrier. It was a joke among Iranian missile community back then when it happened because same missiles were being shown again with twice warhead weights.

A similar case recently happened when Kheybar-Shikan which is a single skip glide missile for borderline hypersonic MaRV hit at 2100 KM when fired from Yemen to Ben-Gurion airport while IRGC calls it a 1600 KM missile. Fattah-I/II hypersonic missile without Skip Glide trajectory with max altitutde may hit 2500+ KM but with less speed because KE wont be gained without Skip manuvers.

Also western rocket commentators for a long time have been saying that two SLVs in IRGC possession Qassed and Ghaem are ICBMs because instead of ISA (space agency) they are operated by IRGC on mobile TEL. Both are tristaged esp Ghaem is tristaged solid fueled monster with a ISPs matching Russian Yars ICBM. Both have been extensively tested as SLVs.

Is it option to plant munition with time delayed fuses, that would make difficult for enemy to operate freely in pauses between launches and put strain on their clearance teams, if there is fear that some would be found and wasted then you can combine payloads so the enemy would not know what you fired on them which would complicate things further for them.

Regarding that Diego Garcia thing. Two possibilities
1) US is right Iran does have long range missile capabilities i.e IRBM,ICBM
2) That's Chinese or Russian help. Either some Russian missile or a stand off weapon launched from a stealth jet.

Pakistan should honour the saudi defence pact on the following conditions:

1. Saudi Spend the 250 billion 2017-2025 money on Pakistan offered to the USA for defence procurement.

2. Remove USA presence at kind abdul aziz and price sultan air bases.

3. Reduce all Indian workers from saudi lands to bare minimum
