Iran also attempted an outreach to the US in the 90s but both times the efforts were sabotaged by the Israelis, who see Iran as an obstacle in their objective of regional hegemony. The point is Israel has it's own mindset and dynamics and you will have to confront them sooner or later.

GCC Arabs and Turks adopted a different posture of appeasement towards Israel and the US and admittedly that worked for awhile but their turn will come too.

I do agree with your inference that Israel has to be confronted the right way and Iran has been rather clumsy in that aspect.

Well it comes down to Standard of Living and most GCC countries are much higher than Iran.

Sanctions. Crippling sanctions for decades otherwise Iran has highest STEM grad output and much higher R&D output then anyone in the region in STEM subjects (go by citations). Also in west where we have diasporas we are more educated and earn higher than majority of the migrant groups, sometimes even higher than locals. In US we are above Chinese, local Whites, Jews, Indians let alone failure ethnos like Arabs in household income.

even if all these bombings were successful:

- Iran is already working to excavate some of the tunnels, and has restored access to some of them
