Probably USA already knew. U just lower the warhead, and increases the range. And SLV's can also be adapted.

So trump can declare victory that we destroyed irans military and withdraw rather than being bogged down in this unwinnable war.

Are we sure this is 450KG warhead? The damage is too great for 450KG. I have seen the Russians using the FAB-3000 in Ukraine, even that didn't have this much damage.
