This is absolutely insane:
At 7:04 AM ET today, President Trump said “the US and Iran have had productive discussions" to end the Iran War.
By 7:10 AM ET, the S&P 500 surged +240 points adding +$2 TRILLION in market cap.
27 minutes later, Iran completely denied all of President Trump's claims and said there has been "no contact" with the US.
By 8:00 AM ET. the S&P 500 had fallen -120 points erasing -$1 trillion in market cap.
That's a $3 TRILLION swing market cap in 56 minutes, just in the S&P 500.
What is happening here?

That out of service time is meaningless since that is ussualy the time a us carrier undergoes maintenance and she was already scheduled for a long term maintenance post deployment. But yeah that fire was pretty bad and reportedly exposed a lot of design flaws and will likely make it harder. Shes currently headed to crete but i think by end of month she'll be heading home. It might take upto another month for Bush CSG to replace her so for now iran only needs to worry about lincoln csg

This is the mistake of Iran. It never created deterrence for killing of diplomats and scientists. For each one of them a complete university/Research Center/oil facility should be taken out.

Spot on. However looks like US attack on Iranian Power sector is off/delayed. Iranian threat of striking GCC Power sector may have prompt their rulers to Put some sense into Trump. Or maybe that was never planned, Pres just wanted some profitable swing trades in equities, oil and Gold. Which looks like he succeed. Haha
