The ones I know and have worked with are far from stupid. It was Pakistan who helped open the door for US-China relations.

We do have smart individuals. What we lack is taking advantage of the opportunities presented to us. In the US-China relations, we failed to position ourselves within the future supply chain and reap the benefits.

While we have qualified individuals, we've promoted others into positions of leadership, mental midgets, small men in big chairs.
