There is a nuance this time though: The global impact of this war on economy is deep and vast and so the pain is felt by too many to ignore. The Strait of Hormuz has thus far proven to be an Economic Nuke in the hands of Iran.
As to the negotiations, no one can trust President Trump, not only given the history but also that he is sending airborne and other units to the conflict. Yet Iran has some leverage to ask for its terms to be looked into and solutions verified before a ceasefire happens. Meanwhile, keep firing at Israel: I hear last night was pretty rough in Israel.
