It took US almost a century of diplomatic ,military & regional engineering efforts to carve out a hegemonic space for itself in middle east.

US will not trade it off just because some random brown in Asia or white in Europe is paying higher gas/petrol prices.

And Iran itself needs the war to stop now to retain its regional power status .
Over playing the SoH card will make Iran more of a problem than a power that will be needed to be dealt with.
Granted this is still a stalemate but getting a stalemate from Ziocons without giving away some strategic concession is also a win for Iranian Nation.
Trumpo is not in a position (yet) to get any strategic concession from Iran.

Iran has already succeeded. Theyve kicked out nato from iraq. Regardless what happens next this is a major victory. Us forces in syria are likely to follow given the strategic vulnerability, kuwait and bahrain are also shown to be extremely exposed to iranian fire and us presence will likely decrease here post war.

True, but that's the only way the US can provide Iran with a guarantee of non-aggression in the future. There is no other guarantee that is realistic. The US is a permanent member of the UN Security Council. If it ever dishonors its signed treaties, the ICJ ruling against her will be useless because it is unenforceable without a UNSC resolution, which will be vetoed by them for sure.

The details can be discussed. For example, maybe one of the major points of such a guarantee should be to bare the US from installing early warning systems and anti-ballistic missiles in a 2,000 km radius. It should also limit their number of bases, their number of troops and disallows them from deploying carrier strike groups near Iran.

If the US does not accept this, it means they are still considering future aggressions against Iran.

Again, as I said, Iran's only realistic option is to go nuclear. The US will never give Iran a fair deal without nuclear weapons.

Also, on a side note, the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz is a direct threat to the Petrodollar. So, the US does care about that. It is not about people in Asia or Europe.

Limit the number of US deployed troops and equipment in a 2,000 km radius of Iran.
Once the US exceeds that limit, it will be seen as a declaration of war.

Basically, give the US no time to prepare for another round. Give Iran the legitimate right to take pre-emptive action against the US.

But at the end of the day, Iran's only true deterrence will be nuclear deterrence. Anything else is absurd.

Iran would be utterly stupid not to get nuclear now.

Actually, reports show MBS favors and end to the conflict and he would keep Saudi Arabia out of the conflict provided Iran does not target critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

Qatar and Oman also want all PGCs to stay out of the conflict no matter how many times Iran targets the PGCC.
