Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iraq entered into war kind of officially, Iran should intensify transfer of drones and lesser range of missiles to them, it changes equation dramatically. Jordan airbase should be primary focus and trying to create popular uprising in Jordan.

  • Steinmeier ‌says Trump’s second term marks rupture in relations
  • Steinmeier more critical than Merz
BERLIN: The Iran war is a “disastrous mistake” that breaches international law, Germany’s president said on Tuesday in an unusually blunt rebuke of US President Donald Trump’s foreign policy.

This marked a rupture for German ties with its biggest post-war ally, he added.

In a scathing verbal attack, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, whose largely ceremonial role allows him to speak more freely than politicians, took a far more critical line than Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who has ‌skirted questions on ‌the war’s legality.

“Our foreign policy does not become ‌more convincing just because we do not call a breach of international law a breach of international law,” Steinmeier, a former foreign minister from the center-left Social Democratic Party, said in a speech at the Foreign Ministry.

“We must address this with regard to the war in Iran. For, in my view, this war is contrary to international law,” he said, adding he had little doubt that the justification of the imminent nature of an attack on ‌US targets did not hold water.

Calling ‌the war unnecessary and a “politically disastrous mistake,” Steinmeier said Trump’s second term marked a ‌rupture in German foreign relations as profound as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“Just ‌as I believe there will be no going back in relations with Russia to before Feb. 24, 2022, so too do I believe there will be no going back in transatlantic relations to before Jan. 20, 2025,” said Steinmeier.

Germany ‌had to apply lessons it learned in extricating itself from “excessive dependencies” on Russia and apply them to the US, particularly in defense and technology, which translate to power, he said.

Germany has stressed the importance of creating alternatives to US-dominated technology as concerns grow over US access.

China returned to being Germany’s top trading partner in the first eight months of 2025, overtaking the US as higher tariffs weighed on German exports. Trade between the US and Germany amounted to more than $190 billion over that period.

The spat between the Pentagon and Anthropic over safety guardrails surrounding the latter’s artificial intelligence could be a wake-up call, or even an opportunity, for Europe, said Steinmeier.

I am very very worried about these negotiations held in Islamabad, i smell the RAT!

what if Entity Does Blue Sparrow on Iranian Deligation in Islamabad. what will Happen? it looks like a trap to push Pakistan into this war! directly with Entity!

This will go out hand massively! Entity F15s can come from Afghanistan Airspace and launch.

I am very very worried,
No they wont Pakistan would shred their asses. We are nuclear armed nation with a tried and tested military. Israel and Americans and west playbook is to put a country into sanctions for at least 10 years etc before they come and fight. They are cowards with a low resistance to pain

Fairly sure they already have all of those and probably srbm that could reach Israel but don’t want to show their hand because if they do invade Iran Iraqis will be on the front line to initiate a broader more sustained attack

Like I said Iran needs a defense pact with the only other true superpower in the world yeah sorry Israel wouldn’t risk going to war with china nor is trump stupid enough to do that

China will not sign any mutual defense treaty with any country.

Iran’s mutual defense treaty needs to be the Strait of Hormuz and retaining control over it as its administer like Egypt controls the Suez Canal.

Sure they do but Iran is careful to not disturb internal legal balances of Iraq, now they can expand scope of arsenal in depth and quantities in cooperation with iraqis more freely.

I think Iran needs to keep weapons like those at home I can definitely see them bringing in irgc men through tunnels running under Iraq if they had them I. Syria large enough to drive semi trucks they have them running between Iraq and iran

I would like to address that bolded part. I've often seen this said by Pakistani's and specifically our old babus.

The Americans can sustain losses, as shown since World War I and II and other conflicts, but under extreme necessity; otherwise, they place a strong emphasis on troop protection and survivability, which runs counter to our Jazba-driven forces. The Israelis, I can understand, have a low threshold due to the availability of military-eligible bodies.

In any warfare, the importance should always be on troop protection and survivability, as a loss of each soldier you lose years or decades of expertise, while the equipment can be replaced in due time.

So, it's not about being a coward, but preserving a valuable resource, an able-bodied individual.

It's a conversation I've had with @Panzerkiel, and he subtly agrees, the value of life isn't well-regarded in our part of the world.
