Yes, I fully remember the period of the Arab Spring in Bahrain but that failed and was suppressed relatively easily.

If Iran wants to take back Bahrain, we need something more than a color revolution, assuming that we could start one. We didn't start the uprising in Bahrain in 2011.

Bahrain won't be that hard. Iran needs to destroy the causeway in multiple locations, then land troops with boats.

There is a small window of opportunity to try and attack these bases from the land, before the element of surprise is gone, certainly.

We will see after this weekend, what the soldiers are for as the talks are a smoke screen (imho).

Too many 'missile cities', too spread out, too well defended for a mere 5000+ landing military to take out.
Iran seems to have reorganized into 31 national armies fighting for one cause and all that spread in an area the size of western Europe. Gaza and Iraq did not have the population, the terrain, and the area advantages like Iran has.

Iran does not have a navy anymore that they could use to launch such an operation. Iran has no way to move thousands of troops over 220km for such an invasion!

They don't have landing craft that can support that large a deployment - what are they going to carry an invasion force on? Oil tankers that are like sitting ducks ?
