Settlements itself is worthy target those are most vivid and brutal manifestation of jewish terror if Iran can hit, destroy and depopulate some of those it would be met around the world with great excitement and approval as Iran would emerge as only enforcer of international law and enforcer of basic justice for palestinians. This would be called nuclear aggression. Israel will instigate wars and threatens to use nuclear weapons if you can effectively push back their assault.

Meaning there is no exisistential threat to Israel or Israeli Jewish population, it's just a threat to their ego. Any nation threatening to use nukes because their ego is hurt should not be allowed to posses nuclear weapons and must be actively disarmed of them
