Doesnt appear to be combat related. I know people will say that they can just as easily lie but there are like 10k sailors in that task force and media enterouge following them. If they were hit itd be impossible to hide it. These are just a casualty of high risk sustained combat operations

They can't exactly meet on zoom. Iran runs it's systems on an ancient western OS with thousands of backdoors. The ability to have secure meetings remotely is limited.
