well it depends on how far Iran goes up the escalation ladder. If they cause a mass casualty event then I think those options will be on the table. Personally, I hope Trump is telling the truth and a ceasefire is imminent. Right now, we have crazy leadership with big egos on all sides.Better not to test it.
If US do It, It will endorse all Iranian nuclear program not to mention that dirty warheads would be eventually test over all Middle East.
yeah I never said that so don’t think you can try to belittle me buddyI'm sure there is an unlimited supply of clean radiation free oxygen, water and food for the cave complex crew to shelter in place in their advanced nuclear shielding hazmat suits each costing about 10,000 USD like the RST Demron Suit.

I agree, even DU rounds fired from GAU-8/A10 and M1AI KE rounds in Iraq caused lingering health issues.no.
you're right radiation dissipates quickly as it did in Chernobyl - no it didn't. With the B61-11 since the nuclear detonation is directed into the ground and not 'air burst' you're looking at heavily radiated earth lofted up and dispersed around the blast zone. The B61-11 was designed specifically for the Kosvinsky Kamen facility in Russia, which is buried under approximately 1,000 feet of granite.
I hope you're not an IRGC advisor.

he needs congressional approval to put boots on the ground to invade a foreign country. He can freely deploy troops for defensive operations but an invasion - no. But I'm not sure if Trump cares about these details. The reason I said no is it's unnecessary to take Kharg Island when the US can simply blow it up. Iran is likely to blow it up anyway if the US takes over the island. So what's the point of risking US lives in a foolish endeavor. Are you sure? So what happens if China one morning decides to invade Taiwan? For all we know this Kharg Island rumored mission is a testing run to assess US military preparedness for Chinese action in the Western Pacific.
It sucks for our troops that are going to be thrown into this experiment but it makes sense considering last time US ground forces saw action was in Iraq/Afghan wars.
Ok, the USS Lincoln got hit by Iranian missiles and at least 1 US sailor was killed (probably more). The aircraft carrier made 90 degrees evasive manouvres, so they probably lost some jets as well. Iran also shot down a F-18 jet 24 hours ago, so this is the main reason why they assassinated the IRGC navy commander this morning.
He had his extreme slanted bias views and trying to pretend anything otherwise is hilariousYou are being obtuse, I said with protective equipment. I didn’t say you can take your shirt off and go sunbathe or grow crops. Unless you have evidence pointing against the radiation dissipation rate I states, please post it. Other than that you are moving into world of opinion.
It is still airbust, meaning the detonation happens in the air and not upon impact into the bedrock. Again please post the evidence you have of lethal radiation zone decay rate of the B61-11 with protective equipment.
The Yazd missile site is under 1600 feet of granite.
And what is your plan here @dbc there are over 25 missile bases in Iran and some will require multiple nuclear weapons to have a shot at your “irradiation” strategy. You going to drop 40+ nukes all across Iran and think that’s politically feasible and acceptable? (Putting aside the massive amount of radiation that will be carried over the PG, Pakistan, India).
These talks are always pointless.
Somehow they´re. Even if they´re necessary still in some missions, the extended range of FPV wire guided and longer range optical missiles like Spike/Almas are narrowing the window of suitability of them. So your excepticism it is justified. One wonders if slow lumbering tanks may soon be obsolete completely.
