Yes, we had Military Assistance Advisory Group, then there was Dien Bien Phu and Gulf of Tonkin and we were off to total war against a bunch of countries. Orangeman would not be postponing these strikes if something behind close doors wasn't happening. The Orangeman does what he wants and if he wants to bomb the hell out of cht he'll do it it's no skin off his back. Some of the recent Iranian and other weapons like FPV drones and anti tank missiles with cameras etc are great, it will make any Israeli presence hell for the Jews, but how difficult is it to get this equipment into Lebanon now
