Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

“The E-3 is aging, and its capabilities are falling behind those of some major adversaries. The Air Force’s E-3 fleet has dwindled down to 16 as the service retires less-capable planes. In fiscal 2024, E-3s had a mission-capable rate of about 56 percent, meaning a little more than half were able to fly and carry out their missions at any given time. -- Air & Space Forces

I assumed around 66% mission capable, this makes it even worse, they now only have 6-7 E-3s available globally after the recent loss.

That certainly means either Russia/Ukraine or PACOM are going without....

There are a lot of Israeli companies that produce medicines such as mupirocin produced by Perrigo (Yeruham) in the Negev Desert in Israel. It would be a shame if this had to be relocated to a safer place.

A very lucrative product made there is Copaxone (glatiramer acetate) by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.

Just wanted to drop this here incase any Iranians want to make sure they know places to avoid bombing.

Control and recognition are two different things.

I agree, but iranians have a long arm, in the form of short range ballistic missiles like Fateh110/313 and their antiship versions are enough to extent the control of whole Persian Gulf. Not to mention cruise missiles that are very easy to hide and disguise. Also the hand would be OWA drones, specially the jet powered Shahed 238 (which probably was the one that hit those tankers and E3) and Sadid 110 can cross the Persian Gulf in few minutes, closing any gap.

All Iranian weapons can be protracted underground or disguised in civilian trucks or ships.

Remember those weapons doesn't need command an control centers. They don't need nuclear submarines or fighters/bombers to be launched and are by definition not needed to be guided by third agents or assets, like JDAM bombs or some cruise missiles like Delilah/JASSM (firsts versions at least) that need fighters or bombers to get closer to targets, air bases and/or carriers and therefore hundreds of personnel and auxiliary services.

Finally all of them are considerable cheaper than US/Israeli counterparts.

So if geography, orography, doctrine, tactical weapons and económic aspects are favourable to Irán... They will control entire Persian Gulf.

Let me share my viewpoint.

I believe the main purpose of Saudi Arabia signing an agreement with Pakistan is to protect the rights of the Saudi royal family. Saudi Arabia uses Pakistan's military deterrent capability to ensure the ruling position of the Saudi royal family.

For the Saudi royal family, this is the greatest interest.

We know that China and Pakistan are friendly countries, and Saudi Arabia and China are friendly trade partners. China, Russia, and Iran have cooperative relations. If Saudi Arabia asks Pakistan to join the Epstein coalition to attack Iran, then Pakistan would be standing against China and Russia. Many countries would not accept Iran's defeat.

Saudi Arabia knows the consequences of asking Pakistan to join the Epstein coalition to attack Iran. The Epstein coalition is bound to fail. Looking at the map, Iran's friends do not need to project power over long distances, whereas the U.S. requires a long-term deployment, and Europe does not wish to participate in this war—they have already declined Trump's request for escort. Therefore, remaining neutral is the best choice for now.

If the war expands, Saudi Arabia may ask Pakistan to send troops into Saudi Arabia. The task of the Pakistani army would be to maintain stability and air defense. Saudi Arabia would publicly display DF missiles and the Pakistani military to deter any country attempting to attack Saudi Arabia.

When a nuclear-armed country and a country with long-range missiles stand together, the deterrence is sufficient to ensure Saudi stability.

Although the U.S. strongly hopes for Gulf countries to participate in the war, participating in the war carries enormous risks. If Saudi Arabia does not participate in the war and only asks the Pakistani military to defend Saudi Arabia, we welcome this measure to prevent the escalation of the war.
