So why can't Iran then hit that Intel plant in Israel ? The destruction of that plant alone will be economically catastrophic for Israel and its tech industry.

the war will be long, for now Israel still has air defences, Iran is firing 10-20 missiles per day, we can expect 1-2 good hits per day (more in a few weeks as Israel even depletes THAAD and David's Sling interceptors)
