Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the future of the Strait of Hormuz should be decided by Iran and Oman, describing the waterway as lying within the two countries’ waters.

“What arrangements are made [regarding the Strait of Hormuz] after the war is a matter for Iran and Oman,” Araghchi told a Qatari TV channel on Tuesday.

In the best scenario It is just a drain in the US budget. In a crazy and demonic massive operation paid by someone that cannot get new revenues from Middle East oil easily again.

And in the worst scenario It is a drain and also a bloodshed. There have been more than a week of stupids announcements in all media about a ground operation.
The more time passes the more prepared all Islamic Republic military branches are.

Being a gambler I tend to think that Trump will do his war. And if Irán take a heavy toll of bastards, it will cost the Presidency to Trump.

So Irán has much more to win in a hypothetical ground operation than Israel and US.
