The biggest takeaway from the speech is that Trump admitted the war was for "allies in the region", meaning Israel and the GCC. He also didn't TACO as the markets were expecting him to, instead doubling down on the war and making another prediction of it lasting just a few more weeks.

Hence Dow futures are down and oil is up after this speech. The markets have concluded Trump is going for a massive bombing campaign as well as land operations in the next few weeks, likely to launch this weekend. Unfortunately I agree with their assessment.
