He was never held accountable for lying to our faces about the JCPOA.
But it's a system issue again. We should never forget that the JCPOA was passed in under 20 minutes in a parliament where the majority of seats were held by the conservatives. They didn't even read the document and discuss it in the parliament before voting on it and passing it. They even tried to frame that as an achievement!

Our system of governance is a failed one. At least prior to this war, we had a group of sheep that followed whatever the Supreme Leader ordered in unison. No wonder that the Americans assumed Iran would fall 3 days after the Supreme Leader was murdered. It was a miscalculation that our history of decision making made them make.

It is good for Iran that they get less lethal weapons to threaten it.

These are small islands with no cover, it will be like shooting ducks in a barrel with drones and SRBMs/TBMs/GMLRS which is why they have not tried it yet even after 20 days of threatening by Trump. They cant land in Isfahan to drag out HEU considering its still there ?? lol they will have to land, create airstrip, excavate hundreds of feets below, drg out tons of metal ? so whats the way out ? No regime change, no IRGC reciprocating strike suppression/deterioration, Strait is still closed, USDPB rising, US has lost almost its entire land based EW /Search Track network on traitor arab soil, the aviation losses are balanced on both sides, Iran has taken hits but on civilian infrastructure that means nothing in terms of war goals. I think extremely biased media from Persian Gulf Arab countries favoring Israel like Al-Arabiya, Al-Jazeera, Iran-international etc should be banned in this thread. They are a full adversary in this war against Iran providing heavy logistics and physical support to US-Israel, why should their propaganda be allowed in an Iranian thread ? Its like during India-Pakistan wars someone start spamming the forum with Indian sources claiming 50 Pakistani jets shot down and etc.

You are crazy. Al Jazeera Arabic has been the most reliable source for all news related to the conflict.

They're literally almost 100% official sources and verified information on ground.

And they will share everything said by officials from all parties and sources from all parties. Which is good to have. The world and us middle Easterners need to see and read what Israeli officials are saying and up to.

Yes, also shows you the different approaches between USAF/USN and Israeli airforce. Israelis usually or mostly stay out of enemy airspace and use long ranged SOWs, ALBMs with range. Their entire 12 day war was fought from over Iraqi airspace with 1-2 incidents entering or attempting to enter the airspace of Iran when F-15i was caught jettisoning and flaring after being shot at by Khordad battery. There was no other incident.

Meanwhile, USAF because they lack dedicated SOWs/ALBMs on fighter jets relies upon heavy bombing from above enemy, they do SEAD clearance of enemy airdefence because of this.

After the war it makes sense for Iran to engage China for an air superiority fighter jet. The foundation should be laid to procure, train and ready the IrAF. Russian's are much more unreliable and can't compete vs China on quality now and quantity.

Unless they could produce hundreds of 5th generation fighters within a decade using export licenses, I don't think any amount of fighters was the right call. Overall, I don't see much too wrong with the IRGC/IRGCAF's approach. If you know that the adversaries you're going to go up against eventually will have an overwhelming advantage in the aircraft department, swing your efforts into other directions, like missile cities, decentralized/cheap AD, drones.

USAF losses now matching or exceeding those of 1991 Gulf War and 2003 Gulf War.

I think they expected some losses but as mentioned, at this rate capability so eroding.

Even for USAF this presents about 2-3s years worth of attrition. Same as PAF losing 6 planes in 1 month, and imagine of those 6 if 1 was Erieye, 1 was Falcon 20 , 1 was IL-76 and 3 were F-16s.

1 more month and if Iran keeps this up, USAF losses will be 35-40 planes. Again, US can take this for sure, but almost all of the above are no longer being manufactured apart from F-35, so these will be a erosion of capability in short/medium term

Again, also add planes they will no need to retire early due to war use/fatigue.

By default this has put PLAAF and PLAAN Air Arm ahead by a year or so simply by standing there watching
