If I'm the Iranians and I've already captured this pilot, as Reza on Twitter is claiming, then I will STILL pretend I haven't caught him, in order to lure more SAR teams into Iranian territory where they are at risk of shootdown because they will be flying low and exposing themselves to MANPADs and even small arms. Let's say the pilot has a transponder, I'd take that and keep moving it around every few hours, again to give the illusion of a downed pilot creeping from one hiding place to another.
