US will remain a large economic and military power. It has immense human and natural resources, only two land borders and that too with friendly countries, and two giant oceans as the best defense any country could hope for.
However, it is the Israelis who must really worry should Iran come out ahead from this war. Should really worry.

If they can manage to survive, they will be greatly weakened with the US dollar no longer as the world reserve currency.

Just look at their productivity and efficiency compared to China.

Just can't imagine how they can deal with the hyperinflation without the hegemony of the US dollar.

It’s not unheard of he could survive. A US pilot survived for 5 days in 1995. But the technology available today is a lot more reliable to locate.

I am one of those who doubted Hezbollah but not to the point of obliteration. Sometime early 2025, the Lebanon front quieted down suddenly. I believe that was to let Trump settle into the office and all involved would see where he would lead the Gaza war to. Israelis needed to regroup and give some relief to the northern Israelis, as did Hezbollah needed a break then. Plus Assad had just fallen and Hezbollah had to lay low--until now.

So I guess the Axis has just evolved and gotten a lot less predictable and people don’t know what’s coming anymore
