Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Interesting @RescueRanger can verify!!

Skylark/Skyking: This is a standard EAM.
: Emergency action message that is transmitted on the US globam freqnency. It is nothing to be concerned about.

It is encrypted so only US forces with thr key can decrypt it and make sense of it. EAMs are sent not just to strategic forces but also other units prior to an operation or as part of readineas drills.

4. There is indeed limited air superiority.
Am going to get this straight...

Air Dominance: The ability of an air force to compel other air forces to re-array themselves, usually into subordinate postures.

Air Superiority: The ability of an air force to achieve control of contested airspace(s), repeatedly if necessary, and if there are losses, those losses would not pose a statistical deterrence to that ability.

Air Supremacy: He flies, he dies.

The clear indicator here is air force vs air force.

There are two ways you can lose an air attacker, be it a fighter or a bomber: against the opposing air force, or against ground based defense.

We can eliminate the Iranian air force as cause of our air losses. The best way to defeat enemy air force is to destroy them while they are on the ground.

Ground based air defense is the last line of defense. Ground based air defense is when the enemy is literally over you. Ground based air defense is REACTIVE while an air force is PROACTIVE/PREEMPTIVE. Ground based air defense CANNOT carry the fight to the enemy but an air force can. Do you understand?

Like it or not, the US owns Iranian airspace. Any Iranian airplane flies, he dies. Simple as that.

Persistent rumors of a UAE-Pakistan rift, as Pakistan is told to repay a $3.5 billion debt. The two countries are said to now be arguing over Iran. Islamabad apparently taking a softer stance, and the UAE looking for a forceful military response to Tehran's attacks on it.

Imagine the hubris of a "country" of 1,5 million (not counting expatriates) comprised of fat lazy lizardeaters to dictate terms to a proud nation of 250 million people in Pakistan.

I think what Iran is presenting is a classic case of asymmetric warfare. To your point...this is about air force on air force and ground based air defence. This is the traditional doctrine of western forces adopted by and large by many others and so we classify them as conventional capability.

What Iran is demonstrating that yes we cant fight you in that domain and you can definitely claim supremacy but we are not fighting that fight. Instead, all these hits across the air bases and airports and many radars are simply the erosion of the western combat capability. They have effectively made sure that those runways are not available to attack and that there are no places there to refuel from. This is not immediately done in one strike but it is definitely progressive.

We see the impact by the fact that the US and Israel have mostly been able to target mostly western Iran. This is because of the range. As these forces go further away to refuel it eats in to their effective range.

So now, not only is it harder to track Iranian missiles, there is a lack of interception capability, and US and Israel assets have to go further to refuel and re-arm to come back and strike Iran and this capabilities depletes further. We do not see the same sortie rate as at the very fist few days of the war.

Its just obervation and facts on the ground here.
