Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

This ops success may embolden US ro launch a ground invasion. Iran has no viable means of rapidky deploying counter forces via air mobility.
No ground invasion but ground raids to extract or temporary control of certain area possible.

Here's my question, what took so long for this rescue to take place if they knew where his location was?

No but you do. You are arguing with me as though I am responsible for what happens on the ground in this war.
You probably do, because I never said Iran was losing this war or you were responsible for what happens on the ground. And as a matter of fact, it was you who started this futile discussion with me, not the other way around.

I was simply referring to a very obvious fact that the mere idea of infiltrating deep into Iran's territory without a single KIA emboldens Trump to launch a ground invasion of Iran.

Question for military experts:

C-130 landed on the ground and got destroyed but no body was inside the aircraft? What was the point?
US destroyed it because they couldn't take it back with them and they didn't want Iran to have access to it.

If even one pilot had been captured and the footage released, it would have shocked American public opinion. Allies might have also begun to distrust US military power and reconsider their subservient stance.
However, by allowing the historic rescue operation to succeed, US confidence deepened considerably, and the opportunity to create momentum toward genuine peace disappeared.
There are turning points in war, and this was one of them. IRI undoubtedly missed an opportunity to change the course of the war.
The US will learn valuable information about the negligence of Iranian ground forces and the weakness of their low-altitude defenses, and will use this information in the future.
How can they attack invading tanks with FPV when they can't attack massive transport planes that are parked and waiting, even though their approximate location is known?
It was revealed that IRI's ground forces were not ready to fight.

Ok, lets not exaggerate. I dont agree with people "coping" and suggesting this was not a tactical loss for Iran. It was. Catching that pilot would have been a good triumph card.

But nor do I agree with painting this as some grand pivotal moment for when the strategic initiative suddenly changed in US favor.

At the end of the day, Iran stills holds veto over who passes the strait of Hormuz. Irans underground missile cities are intact, and Iran lobbies missiles on GCC and Israel on a daily basis. The strategic landscape havent changed.

I couldn’t find the other OSINT one I posted which was better. Only found this one

No, I meant a different map where the area of CSAR Ops had been highlighted as a polygon.

Anyway, they covered a large area per that map. If they had a locator signal, don't you think they would've gone to the proximity of that location directly instead of scanning the entire area that was pretty large and almost the size of a small European country?

What is being lost in all this, is that ALLEGEDLY. US forces used a remote Iranian air base to land at and stage this whole operation.

Which if true….would be embarrassing. Not sure what remote air bases exist close enough to crash site.

These pedophile Jew worshipping atheists don't believe in God, they're hedonistic Jew and Satan worshippers trying to desperately to raise a generation of crusaders by time Mahdi leader arises and Ummah rises

We know what the Jews are plotting and will step on them and all their cubs

judging by the photos it was a some kind of farmland and not an airfield

Hundreds of special forces and dozens of U.S. warplanes and helicopters were deployed to locate the downed F-15E crew in Iran.

American aircraft attacked Iranian convoys to keep them at bay as forces rushed toward the pilot, and an armed clash occurred during the rescue operation.

Before being extracted, the
pilot used a lighthouse and secure communications to coordinate with rescuers.

According to NYT times he probably even had a military grade satellite phone.

So yes, I believe that they communicated with him where to hide until they got the assets in place to stage the rescue.
