Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

So if Iran shot down C130, as it looks like atleast a crash landing rather than being destroyed on the ground, then what happened to the crew onboard? Likely dead me thinks. And what's that chopper doing on the ground, burnt out? There is definitely MORE to this than what we're being told by the Yankees. Most certainly not your classic Hollywood heroic operation.

Ground operation incoming then.

In the last 2 days, the US got a plane, a transport plane, 2 helicopters damaged/destroyed while trying to get one pilot out at a place that was not even an active theatre of war ..

That is really bad sign for how an actual ground invasion might turn out to be, for the US, where Iran would actually have proper defensive and offensive positions.

Other than usual gloating and BS by Trump, none of the sensible media and military outlets in the US are feeling they are prepared for this, especially after the events of the last 2 days.

Apparently they got stuck in the mud and hence could not lift off.
The ground looks dry, solid sandy, no mud, unlikely those cargo planes got stuck by landing. Because they are expensive I don’t think the US special forces destroyed them for fun,
so the possibility (1) those planes were damaged by missiles or gun shots.
(2) they carried something, left them behind, destroying the evidence.

The issue is not that they successfully rescued their pilot, it is that for some 30+hrs, helicopters were flying low level without fear to the point where they could do slow low-level air-to-air refuelling over Iranian airspace, and the entire combined armed forces of Iran did not have the common sense to load up a few trucks of soldiers with MANPADs to shoot them down... That is where Iran failed. It would not have taken much to do that, yet we didn't see that at all. If the locals could drive to the areas, then so could have low-level specialised AD teams. It is that lack of professional conduct, or skill that we all saw fail and are disappointed in.

Iranian Military f*cd up. US landed 2-C 130s ,that they needed to drop off the vehicles and equipment that was used to search and rescue and to fight. Regarding the C-130s I doubt they expected them to get airborne again.-Essentially crash landing them according to some reports like I said to get heavy machinery in and then abandoning/ blowing up the whole equipment on the way out.

The Iranian authorities response was insane, encouraged local population to go and capture this pilot. Those who were driving for the pilot got totally annihilated by C130 fire. And Mq9 reapers airstrikes . There are shocking reports coming out that the Americans airstrikes cleared the whole area of villages to reduce the threat to this rescue.

Couple of days ago Iran bombed the shit out of a firm based near Tel Aviv called Teva. One of the largest drug manufacturers in the world. Crippled their supply. Now thats what hurt looks like

We shot down one F-15 after one month and 2 pilots ejected relatively deep into Iranian territory, the second one was in Iran for > 30 hours

How many more years do you think we have to fight them to get another opportunity like this?

If recent rumours are to believed, not a matter of years but unfolding as we speak (F-15 shot down over Tehran)
