Well if the location was only say 150 miles inland there is no need to send in C130s if you know the exact location. You could simply send in a Chinook (or something) with escorts as it has the range.

But as was seen C130s were sent in so that either means the F15 WSO was outside the range of a transport helicopter or they didn't know exactly where the officer was and needed some aerial refueler for the search craft. It doesn't take 36 hours for a Chinook to fly in and extract somebody if you know where they are.

More explanation raises further uncomfortable questions.
First of all, if only refuelling was needed, why was there a second C-130? The first explanation should be provided for the second C-130.
Secondly, the USA didn't know the exact location of the shooting down of the F-15?
Thirdly, how was it possible that an injured pilot officer would travel hundreds of miles to go inland to hide? More travel means more chances of Iranians finding out her location or the locals arresting her. Remember, the Iranians announced a reward for someone who gives the information.
Like I said, more explanations require more answers. Things are simply not adding up.
