If my memory serves me well, at its peak, the Russians damaged barely 60% of Ukraine's grid. They didn't fully obliterate it, but damaged it.

But even then, people had 8-hour and 10-hour power cuts in Kiev.

Very suprised Iran never built its own version.

Iran could have built 100 of these around the capital and also at major airbases to stop drones and cruise missiles and other slow flying bombs. Wouldn’t be used against fighter jets, but Iran’s big problem is not being to stop waves of cruise missiles and high flying drones firing hellfires and PGMs.

Iran has already built naval CWIS, so not sure why they didn’t build a land version. It fits in their design philosophy because ammunition production in Iran is far cheaper than the West.

Not saying it’s the same but if they had concentrated on a more upgraded gun similar to that than yeah mesabah guns could have been far more than what they had stopped at be it because of money or because they have to many competing weapons instead of solely focusing on one or 2 weapons at a time
