Now the users here who disagreed with me on my comment about the difference between the Pakistani system and the Pakistani people can see I was not wrong.

Saudi Arabia is a belligerent in this war. They are constantly pushing Trump to finish Iran, and you can see whose side Shahbaz Sharif is on.

Yet it is the same Pakistani PM/establishment which made the Saudi pact which has now been helping broker peace talks between Iran and the US.

Pakistani people are not for either Iran or KSA. They prefer to not see a war between 2 Muslim countries. This is the exact same stance as the Pakistani government.

There won't be any nuclear attack on Iran by the US. If such a plan was being discussed, you can bet your last dollar it would have been leaked.

Fully agree. This is perhaps the only reasonable tactic they can achieve in such asymmetry. The ability to strike enemy "muster points" in the Gulf nations or in the adjacent waters is absolutely crucial.

Someone here mentioned that Saddam was undone because he couldn't stop the Coalition from doing exactly this - sounds about right.

Saddam was put on a stake... He had no allies... Arabs, Iranians, Turks, nor Sunni, Shi'i or Arab nationalists. While Iran has a niche, a geography, large population and unity.
The insecurity from the clown is also emanating from a pressing vulnerability... the long war simply cannot be waged from air... especially when the stockpile of standoff precision weapons is running thin at a critical level... the air component itself is maintenance heavy and will cause the collapse of longer-term viability of the fleet. His bluster masks his fears... a realtor would want to sound tough... he's got more or bigger offers in the bag to push Iranians to capitulate... make a hasty yet detrimental decision.

I am not certain about anything. It can go both ways. There's no telling at this point. The US may eventually use nukes on Iran, particularly tactical nukes against Iran's missile cities as they are immune to conventional bunker busters.

No, I don't disagree. Some of his MAGA connections are of the same mindset. I'm not a fan of them either.

If the missile cities are buried deep in the mountains under solid granite, a nuke is going to be no more effective that a bunker buster / MOP. The only thing it will succeed at is making the area uninhabitable for awhile.

As someone who has blown up a couple granite and basalt mountains back in the day, it's easier said than done.

Doesn't Iran have Bio,Chemical and dirty warheads ?

Nope. Iran never developed chemical weapons for moral reasons. We are the world's largest victim of chemical weapons, used by Iraq against us.

We may have biological weapons, but we have never tested them. And delivery of biological warheads is different because you're dealing with heat-sensitive stuff (bacteria, viruses, prions, etc.)

No dirty bombs either. And any use of CBR without massive destruction on the enemy by us will be retaliated 10 fold by them.

We need real nuclear weapons to defend ourselves, not useless CBR weapons.
