3 possibilities:

1. Trump is bluffing, in which case, yes, betrayal in form of a deal would be bad
2. Trump is not bluffing, but Iran has some plan to push back or cause collateral damage in such a way that US has to retreat. Fine, no need for a betrayal either.
3. Trump is not bluffing and Iran has no workable plan to deal with the consequences.

In first 2 cases, yes, maybe we can talk about betrayals and other moral responsibilities.

In the 3rd case however, I would hope someone like Pakistan can convince Iran to back out in a way that keeps Iran's survival for a better future to come, maybe once US empire completes its natural time.

I'm not saying which ones of these outcomes will happen. I'm just saying that Just, just in case of the 3rd outcome, a deal in works might be better than nothing.

Remember Gaza, morality and principles, etc, unfortunately, unfortunately, do not always matter if there is no way out of a bad situation. Its always better to have some remote way out, even if it feels like a defeat.

Iran today gets crushed. We will have screwed up borders east and west. In out own interests we dont want Iran to fold IMO

Shahbaz Shareef and his boss Asim Muneer do not represent the will of the citizens of Pakistan. Both were rejected by the citizens in the last general elections. Despite the censorship, Israel has not suffered nearly enough damage for them to resort to nukes. None of their critical infrastructure has been destroyed, Iran has mostly been firing those stupid cluster missiles whose bomblets do very little damage, and they've limited their attacks to like a dozen a day, not nearly enough to cause any serious pain so far.

And Hezb despite their fierce resistance, is not invading Israel proper and marching on Tel Aviv, Israel is invading their territory, not the other way around. The Syrian groups that lobbed a couple rockets towards Israel are small Iranian proxies with no real power or capabilities, they pose practically no threat to Israel at all, it's more online sabre rattling than anything else. None of the current reality is nearly threatening or damaging enough for Israel to feel the need to resort to nukes, that's just overtly inflating the situation as it currently is. I don't see them actually using them unless their existence is truly threatened, which is not remotely the case right now.

THIS ^^ is the reason its Iran attacking GCC more and more... Real damage of Israel is just not there... but yes its manpower is tapped, and they are over extended... keeping them in this stretch is the plan...

Why was the pact signed right before the war? In the last 75+ years, there was no pact then what was the urgency to sign one now without proper deliberation in the parliament (even if it's a fake parliament)

Even in the 3rd case, they will not leave Iran alone after 45 days.

They will use this period to rearm themselves, replenish the exhausted AD in the region, bring in more standoff weapons, and prepare for a ground invasion of Iran and come back to finish Iran.

So, even if it's the 3rd case, it is still bad for Iran. I have already explained it in extreme length before.
