The peacemaker becomes the easy target.

Pakistan will soon have to shift from supporting Iran to contemplating a reality where Iran expects its neighbors to incur costs without complaints, and then also consider an Iran which will believe it controls the straits, like a regional hegemon. This seems like a possibility.

Iran wants a permament end to the war. Not a fragile ceasefire that Israel will violate like it did in Lebanon and Gaza. Iran has negotiated in good faith without pre conditions TWICE before and been bombed. The era of cowering to US is over.

Pakistan PM needs to use his brain instead of praising Trump every chance he gets like he did at the Board of Peace Event.

Can we even afford to go into just watch mode? cause directly or indirectly we will be dragged into this war, and maybe next time our ships will not pass through the SoH with ease, what will happen then? we are already risking the relationship with GCC by not actively taking part in KSA defense, and if we lose all of GCC and according to Iranians here we are the reincarnation of Devil so we are making enemies out of both.

Negotiations and talks mean compromise - give and take. Both parties have to release the stubbornness and allow a deal to be reached. What do you want Pakistan to do? Walk away and let armagedeon begin?

You have been getting oil and LnG thru the strait because of your relations with Iran and yet want to flip sides because the country of Baboon Arabia is being hit after offering its bases and airspace to U.S. and paying $2B to Trump’s son in law.

See Side-winder's post above. This is the point that I have been making for over a week. Pakistan brokering peace is because Pakistan does not want to get roped into the war and pick sides.

Thus, spectating isn't much of an option for Pakistan given the current trajectory.
