Don’t give a shit, who’s proposal it is, if it stops thousands of innocents being killed and gives even small hope of permanent ceasefire, it’s better than the alternative and gets my vote.

I have a question regarding Iran's AD set-up.

I understand that Iran is a vast nation, but the reasoning that its size necessitates limitations on air defense systems does not resonate with me somehow.

Isn't it true that only about half (or even less, if we consider the mountains, deserts, and areas unsuitable for agriculture or construction) of Iran consists of hospitable land?

Plus, within this hospitable area, the population centers are quite dense and concentrated. The criticism lies not only in Iran's inadequate air defenses but also in the fact that several crucial regions, which could easily be included within the coverage of air defense systems, have very little protection.

I get that establishing a comprehensive air defense system that covers every part of the country is economically unfeasible, let alone creating a layered and deeply integrated system.

Was Iran's air defense system truly inadequate even before the conflict started, or did the United States significantly damage it during the initial bombings?

Sure, Pakistan's mediation role could push down the gas price and more relief for common people who have been affected by the blockade of the Hormuz.

Could Pakistan also try to bring Iran into China's sphere of military ecosystem?

I think trumpy wants maximilist demands, that is why they invaded Iran in the first place. He wants Venezuela style surrender, so im not optimistic about any ceasefire unfortunately. Its hard to negotiate with a serial liar and someone who stabs you in the back at every opportunity.
