What we learned from this war is that Arrow-3, SM-3, THAAD, Patriot and David's Sling are absolutely useless against ballistic missiles with only maybe 5% interception rate.

Iranian ballistic missiles successfully hit Israel and US bases across the region.

The only problem for Iran was lack of real-time targeting data from Russian and Chinese satellites.

And while there are reports that Russia provided some targeting data to Iran, in reality Iran was forced to launch missiles at US air bases without real-time data on location of high-value targets in those bases.

If Russia and China could have provided real-time targeting data to Iran showing location of US refueling tankers, AWACs and fighter aircrafts, Iran could have destroyed most US aircrafts in those bases with ballistic missiles with US ABM defenses being absolutely useless.

At the beginning of this war Iran probably had around 4000 ballistic missiles and currently Iran has around 2000-2200 ballistic missiles.

With monthly production rate of minimum 100 missiles per month Iran should increase its arsenal to 15.000 missiles in the next 6-10 years.

Also China has thousands of ballistic missiles and it will decimate US Air Force in bases in Japan if there is conflict over Taiwan.

Look at this 99K$ Chinese hypersonic missile - it is cheaper than F-15 sortie:

I think his statement is better to put isreal in a defensive position
but wrong
as it gives Israel a cause that it is a victim of hatred since ages

I think he can balance it by saying why israel attacked a synagogue in Tehran. or Muslim and people of the books elsewhere have good relations such as jews supported Zohran Mamadani etc

I'm all for cause and effect actually.

I force myself in my neighbor's neighborhood by stealing the house of his neighbor and constantly beating the owners up, murdering their children and violating them in the grossest, most inhumane ways to stay in the stolen house illegally.
Then one day my neighbor decides that I'm an asshole and he wants me gone from that neighborhood because he knows I'm a rapist, murderous thief with no honor and respect for law, but then I start to set the whole neighborhood ablaze. Wouldn't be surprised if my neighbor started to wish death upon me then.

USA is no fighting to keep petrodollar.

USA is fighting to FCK economies which won't use petrodollar.

Not even necessarily a week, all the tankers that goes through the strait aren't exactly speedboats. We're looking at months+ transits for things that are already in the Gulf, let alone things that were scheduled to arrive and depart with their loads.
People who are reductionist, like some analysts or certain pea-brained presidents, don't really understand what this is doing to the global supply chain...
