Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

The Straits of Hormuz is a kill box, if the ceasefire does break down then these ships will have to leave quickly or they will be sunk. Mines, would be quick replace to. When the Straits were closed, there were no mines in place. The deterrence is not the mines, it is the ability to target and sink ships.

The USA may even be tempted to move its troop carriers of marines into the straits and onwards to either the UAE, or Bahrain but those troops won't make much of a difference to the actual end game anyway.
Looks like this ceasefire was another ruse! Attacks coming probably

Who knows, but still how materially significant is it ? Maybe I am underplaying it, I don't think so but love to hear others views on this.

Iran: “if it weren’t for Pakistan mediating we would have broken the ceasefire and expanded the war”

Turkey: “if it weren’t for Pakistan mediating we would have joined the war due to Israeli genocide in Lebanon”

We would have joined the Abraham Accords*

There is alot more than just oil that leaves the region. Alot of processed chemicals, and other industries are based in the area. Also, as shown with Saudi, those pipelines can be easily disrupted, maybe more easily than ships.
It will take 50 years to create alternative routes and pipelines to redirect 25% of hormuz traffic.

So far everything goes in Iran's favor even if this truce does not hold it gave iranians time to recalibrate their missile unites, give new orders to isolated bases, clean up debris around destroyed entrances and reposition of missiles and drones into the most useful bases which could have been depleted during war which is bigger benefit in comparation what can enemy do with their defences for such short period of time.
On the other hand if by some wonder this truce continue towards some kind of reluctant peace we have witnessed to the rewritten history and emergence of Iran as key regional and world player, consequences of that is hard to predict but obvious ones are that gulf nations will never have influence as they had it before the war, Pakistan will also be huge benefactor Karachi will take again huge chunk of Dubai logistic cake and can be power which can be saving face and counter balance umbrella for rest of the gulf states in order that they retain some workable and dignified position in region.
And the last thing, Mojtaba did the right thing when he called gulf states to accept new reality not from position of arrogance and obvious upper hand but as new opportunity for closer regional cooperation on fair base and recognizing legitimate interest and physical realities, this exclude UAE that entity remains hostile permanently untill they make regime change and make drastic geopolitical shift until then Iran has to be cautious of that israeli forward base and outpost.

Great post!
And I can't believe so many before you in this thread were rubbishing this ceasefire. They should have noted that it was only Israel which didn't want this ceasefire!!

Is this delegation fully capable and empowered to make any and all decisions on behalf of government of Iran or should they take it to Khamenei and IRGC commanders for approval?
Final approval of any agreement will require Khamenei and some others in Iran. Just like Mr Trump (and regrettably Mr Netanyahu) will have to sign off from the US side.

Both can begin conditionally observing the terms pending the signatures.

He had plenty of opportunity when Palestine was been carpet bombed and clear genocide occurred. Suddenly he finds an excuse and - if couldve wouldve are words he comes up with?

It seems like Turkey is sensing changing regional winds now. Better late than never. As they say in Urdu language: Deir Ayed, Durust Ayed (well, that's also in Persian!).
