The moment China starts delivering weapons to Iran, it won't stop at MANPADS as the conflict escalates.

That was one instance. Most other times fighter jets are too fast and flying to high for manpads. Not to mention flares can easily dispense with a manpad.

Iran makes 3 generations worth of manpads and likely has Russia and Chinese manpads dating decades back.

Supply is not the issue. Logistics is. You cannot expect to have men with manpads sitting everywhere in a country almost as big as Europe in land size and also highly mountainous. There will be gaps.

I doubt the authenticity of these claims. We saw this with Russia Ukraine war that claimed Iran was sending advanced missiles to Russia repeatedly through the first 2 years of the war. Not a single Iranian missile was ever transferred.

Then before this war we got news that Iran was buying 3000 Russian manpads, then we got news that Iran was buying supersonic Chinese anti ship missiles, and then we got this news.

To me it’s all propaganda meant to warn other countries.

Yes they did. But after that for nearly 2 years the western media would publish articles that Iran was “just about” to transfer missiles to Russia. Every few months or so you would get another news article claiming it.

I don’t think China will get supply any arms to Iran. They didn’t supply any to Russia. And Chinese-Iranian arms deals have been non existent for decades. Our military relationship with China is completely different than Pakistan.

Iran mostly buys precursor fuels from missiles and components and raw materials from China. That is basically the extent of our military cooperation.
