Israil is advancing unfortunately. Famous town of Bint e Jebil is surrounded and they are trying to advance towards center. They failed in 2006 and sustained heavy losses. if they succeed this time, expect a huge toll of Hizbullah casulties and serious dent in their equation of resistance.

A militia cannot stop a heavily armored army like Israel from advancing. It can however make it very hard and expensive to hold the land. The Israelis are trapping themselves in Lebanon, just like in 1978, 1982, 1996.

Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Sure thing, we can sense, if not see, the smoke. Impression is, Islamabad is active again, pushing for a second round. To be fair, despite a 21-hour session and some breakthroughs, it was still unreasonable to assume that a major deal could be reached. The same could still be true for the second round of talks, but there just might be some minor agreement. Iranian negotiators need to convince the hardliners, and the US negotiators, possibly Vance again, need to have delegated authority on some matters. The more he talks to Washington the more problems would arise.

He once against threatened Iran, saying his forces were “locked and loaded”, while announcing that a US blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would take effect, restricting the passage of vessels using Iranian ports, or those that pay toll to Tehran.

A bit of praise for Pakistan from talk show hosts, including Colbert and Stewart.

Also, Islamabad is often being mentioned without the country name afterwards. Example; "Islamabad", instead of "Islamabad, Pakistan" throughout major outlets and news. This is similar to how Geneva is mentioned as it is expected for people to know the country name afterward and garners the cities respect. Some good news in that cause.

He's not wrong about China though... signals are being sent to China to step in to contain Iran and open the straits for all or face interruption in deliveries.
A face off can happen if a Chinese bulk carrier is stopped from entering or exiting the straits or is targeted. Until that moment arises... how China handles a blockade that didn't exist prior to illegal US aggression against Iran using states in the region as accessories.

He's one of the crazy warmongers (Bolton, Cheney, rumsfeld, Caine, etc .....) who are also much corrupt and falsely nationalistic or religious. Not much of a bright strategist.
