Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

This is a fairly inexpensive operation for U.S. Iraq No-Fly zones were maintained for over 12 years at an imperceptible cost.
Are you serious?

How many ships are right now around Irán (Indian Ocean, Red sea and even Mediterranean).

Also, do you think after shooting down at least 24 reapers and a dozen of Hermes and at least 3 fighters, US have stablished a Non Flight Zone inside Irán?

Wonder to know which are the ingredients of your salads...

Not sure how the drone operator missed ?

He had time and plenty of targets?

Probably rotor of the UH60 provoked a turbulence making non controllable the UAV. But it is a PITTY. Everyone of us wanted two bastards going to hell.

What is preventing China from selling planes is not sanctions, but Iran's internal political forces!

Nonsense baseless accusations. Iran-China arms deals soured after the C-801/C-802 ToT license deal.

If China offered Iran J-10C or FC-35 iran would not refuse due to some “internal political forces” excuse. Iran purchases arms based on quality and with the understanding spare parts and support would continue and not be cut off due to geopolitical environment. The only two countries able to sell arms are Russia and China. And both have been very reluctant due to the headaches.

China has substantial economic ties to Arab Monarchs who would not be happy to see China arming their rival. China also has been helping with the Saudi Arabia. There is very little upside for China selling major weapon systems to Iran and a ton of downsides of pissing off middle eastern countries and the West. Thus China and Iran dealings have stayed in the realm of fuel for missiles, gyroscopes, missile components, and dual use technologies.

All these can be plausible deniability, 200 fighter jets cannot be denied. Even Iran’s drone deal with Russia prior to Ukraine war caused a lot of damage in Iranian-Ukrainian relations which up to the mid 2000s was relatively strong in the field of military cooperation.

If Iran can shut down middle eastern oil.
That seems to be the only way to free Arab countries.

I believe Iran is reworking the qaher into a drone with AI capabilities just like the Kararr drone.

The Karrar drone was non existent in this war along with its MALE fleet.

Iranian airspace is not conducive for such drones when you have strong EW of the enemy with AWACs and f-22 deploying jamming capabilities. Makes signal strength very weak. Add in the mountainous terrain that blocks ground based communication signals and you almost have to certainly rely on encrypted two way data feeds via military satellite constellation to communicate with the drone. Something Iran doesn’t have and would have to rely on Chinese to hand over access too, which I doubt they would.

Thus this buzzword of ‘AI Unmanned fighter’ jets is not yet a reality for a country of Iran and is likely 10+ years away from being viable alternative to manned jets even for major powers. The F-47 is manned and China’s 6th generations are still manned as well. Which means the two strongest Air Force’s in the world still expect human pilots to be the bulk of the Airforce till at least 2040.

What these gulfies dont understand if Iran was not under severe sanctions and had a pragmatic government which kept the population happy, Iran would be economically the most powerful country in the ME, with their highly educated population of 90m people and decent industrial base they would have been like South Korea but richer because of hydrocarbons.

Alas what could have been, now its crucial Iran plays its cards to allow economic prosperity.

I hope he has advisers with brains. Politically, opposition to war has ceased now and oil has stabilized to below $100. This is a fairly inexpensive operation for U.S. Iraq No-Fly zones were maintained for over 12 years at an imperceptible cost.
Yes. Iraq turned out great after no-fly zone and ground bases. Just like Afghanistan also turned out so well with 20 years of no-fly zone and ground bases (and substantial allied support).

When are ground bases being established in Iran?
