The Emirates’ Desperation to Not Appear Isolated
The Emirates asked Egypt to send a squadron of fighter jets to an Emirati base with the intention of demonstrating that the country still has a presence in the region beyond Israel and Bahrain.
The Emirates are the largest investor in Egypt, with investments totaling $35–40 billion. Obviously, Egypt complied with the request, but this is far from translating into actual military support in the event of a conflict involving the Emirates.
I am very pragmatic about the idea of the Emirates receiving any meaningful Arab support by joining ranks alongside Israel and against Iran, especially against the will of the Saudis.
No matter how much support or money the Emirates provide, they will remain isolated in the region because they have taken steps far beyond what their own legs can support.
In this context, another leader who needs to explain his position and is not telling the whole truth is President Macron.
Yeah I don't understand Arab's DNA and mindset, it is likely that US will leave whole Middle East, it will be between little Sheikh and strong Iran later.Little sheikh sheep, can they not defend themselves? Literally begging everyone from the Egyptians to Zionists to protect them. Despicable filth. Next they'll be begging the Indians to come help them.
they didn't fire that many missiles at them to try not to hit them
What kind of ceasefire is this? A naval blockade is applied against Iran and Iranian ships are getting damaged and or hijacked. Iran proper is getting bombed.Like it or not you are in a ceasefire. There is 0% chance Iran tries to sink a U.S. warship during a ceasefire. Not going to happen. U.S. also knows this that’s why ships are much closer than during the war.
Another True Promise 1. We saw how that turned out.Hitting a US vessel at this time, and possibly causing 100s of casualties is not something Iran would want. Thats a serious escalation. They were probably warning shots and the Americans are exaggerating as usual. They always want to make it look sensational.
