Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

they finally found a U.S. president stupid and corrupt enough to do their bidding at Americans’ expense

They want to make the most of it
Not just that but average Democrat voter is more smart and less dumber than Average Republican voter, you can see some even on PDF who follow Trump and Elon types. Their IQ level is on par with Indian Bhakts.

You are right. Through my marriage, I am surrounded by the weird MAGAs of the American South. Dumb. Dumber than even an average Pakistani villager because the dumb here vote against their own interests. But the Republican base is not all dumb people; there are the fiscal conservative ones who realize a state keep giving the freebies to the freeloaders for 'vote bank politics' is not going to be financially a healthy one. The Democrats are the culprits in the 'Give, Give, Give' to buy the votes.

The political pendulum here keeps swinging but I believe--or fear-- it can't last for long given the divisions. Some in my circle blame the Dems, especially Obama and some blame Trump, for the huge divide. Some, even looking for life partners in their old age, won't even consider someone with different political views. Wife was reading a text message from her girlfriend just this evening--the lady is a super MAGA and even a strong Christian Evangelical who uses 'Shabbat' for Saturdays-- and the MAGA lady was rejecting a Dem friend for his political views--and he rejects another lady for that lady's MAGA views. I have tried to say at their respective ages, just live your lives!! No listening to me!

Pertinent to this thread, as Trita Parsi said in a video posted just above: The support for Israel on this war is now dwindled down to the old Boomers in the Republican Party. Netanyahu knows that and he knows that the 150 year old Zionist project is facing a very dangerous future with the changes coming up in America. Israel had already lost Europe and America is its last bastion... they are not going to give up easily. I just hope someone like Rabin comes to power and ends this madness. He was an angel in comparison with Netanyahu.

NY Times reporting as its main news right now.

The United States and Iran have agreed in principle to a deal that could wind down the war in the Middle East, but the final approval by leaders of both sides could take days, a senior U.S. official told reporters on Sunday.

The deal would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and commit Iran to disposing of its highly enriched uranium, but how Tehran would do so was still being negotiated, said the U.S. official, who spoke anonymously because they were not authorized to speak publicly. President Trump has insisted that the United States seize the material as part of his vow to curb Iran’s nuclear program.

Iran’s leaders and official state media have not publicly commented on what is in any potential agreement or what is being discussed. Officials from both countries have said any agreement would be an initial framework that would lead to further negotiations, rather than the last word.

News of a possible deal came after a roller-coaster few weeks, with Mr. Trump at times threatening to restart attacks on Iran, and at others saying there was progress in last-ditch negotiations to stave off a return to full-scale war — all while offering few details. Then, on Saturday, the president announced on social media that the two countries had “largely negotiated” a memorandum of understanding “pertaining to PEACE.”

On Sunday, however, he said he had ordered his negotiators “not to rush into a deal.”

If a deal were certified, Mr. Trump said in his social media post on Sunday, the United States could end its blockade of Iranian ports, which it had used to pressure Tehran to reopen the strait.

Over the last 24 hours, both American and Iranian officials have emphasized the concessions they hoped to secure.

Three Iranian officials said on Saturday that a potential deal would stipulate only that nuclear matters would be negotiated within 30 to 60 days. Like the U.S. official, they spoke anonymously because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

The possible deal does not address Iran’s supply of missiles, nor does it stipulate a moratorium on enrichment, the U.S. official said on Sunday. Those issues would be addressed in future negotiations, the official said. In previous rounds of negotiations, the United States has sought at least a 20-year commitment.

For Mr. Trump, a deal with Iran could offer a path to ending the turmoil wrought by the war, which began in late February when the United States and Israel attacked Iran. The conflict has killed thousands, rattled global energy markets and been broadly unpopular among the American public.

I don't know if we are allowed to post from the Israelis sites or not but this article is revealing in its delusions and desires. The fact of mentioning 'the West' is so archaic when even the last bastion of support for Israel, which is America, and which is rapidly crumbling, shows a mindset of desperation in Israel. And 'axis of evil'? Really? That was about a quarter century years ago termed used by GW Bush.

This Israeli hack, behind every word in this article, is trying to hide two of the main goals of Israel for this war on Iran: To degrade Iran, using the American blood and money, and to acquire the fertile land in southern Lebanon. The rest is just a smoke screen!!

True, no agreement has been signed yet, and the messages coming out of Washington and Tehran are full of contradictions. But the direction is clear: The United States is seeking stability, Iran is seeking relief, and the West is once again tempted to believe it can buy temporary quiet from a regime that for decades has built a regional empire of terror.
As an Israeli, a public servant and a reserve officer, I am concerned mainly by two things. The first is Lebanon. Israel must not repeat the old mistake of quiet containment and illusory calm. Hezbollah is an extreme threat to residents of the north and Iran’s main military arm in the Middle East. Any agreement that does not allow for the genuine dismantling of the threat from southern Lebanon is an agreement that invites the next

In recent months, civilians in the north and IDF soldiers have paid a heavy price because of drones, missiles and terror threats that were built up for years under an Iranian umbrella. Even now, Hezbollah is sending a clear message that it has no intention of voluntarily disarming. On the contrary, it seeks every day to kill the best of our sons.

Israel cannot accept a reality in which Iran receives economic relief and diplomatic oxygen that would allow Hezbollah to remain with thousands of rockets, UAVs and terror capabilities on our northern border. After October 7, we can no longer live with illusions. A threat that is not destroyed in time eventually explodes in our faces.
The second thing that concerns me is the standing of the West in general, and the United States in particular, in the face of the axis of evil. The world is now looking at Washington and asking a simple question: Is America still capable of leading the fight against global evil, or is it merely looking for a quiet way out?

It is obvious Trump is beholden to the dictates and whims of Benjamin Netanyahu and other the Neocons in the USA who all want one thing: The continuation of the conflict. And when Trump posted the below image this morning, it was very obvious there was no deal.

Now, whether the conflict will resume, it is up to Netanyahu and what his Neocon maniacs in the US decide. Trump is just a puppet.
One hell of a professional behavior from US president lol

So we are suppose to believe this verbal fart from this orange orangutan ? 🦧

So this time he means it like the last 1000 times when he really meant it but didn’t really mean it …

What an atrocity to human senses

I don't think China needs its own version of strait of hormuz for many reasons that I won't go into but they do have one.

If a country tries to blockade China, China can do what Iran does by blockading water from Tibet. Tibet provides water to over 2billion people and China can play this card (not that it will).

But winning a battle by not fighting and knowing your cards and your enemies cards is the first step to peace.

AI Overview

Chinese Hydropower: Damning Tibet's Culture, Community, and ...
The Tibetan Plateau—often called "Asia’s Water Tower"—supplies approximately 718 billion cubic meters of surface water annually to neighboring countries. This vital runoff feeds major river systems that sustain about 2 billion people across 11 Asian nations.

Downstream Water Distribution
Tibet's rivers provide life-giving fresh water to a massive portion of the global population, spanning from Pakistan to Vietnam.

  • India: Receives the largest share, with about 48% of the plateau’s outbound surface water flowing directly into the country.
  • Southeast Asia: The Mekong and Salween rivers carry critical water supplies to millions in Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.
  • Central & East Asia: The Yangtze and Yellow rivers serve billions domestically, while rivers like the Indus flow into Pakistan.

Geological Storage
Recent assessments by the Chinese Academy of Sciences estimate the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau holds about 10 trillion cubic meters of surface water storage. This massive reserve is continuously replenished by glacial melt and atmospheric moisture systems like the westerlies and monsoons.

Because the region is so critical to continental water security, you can track current hydrological and climate developments on ScienceDirect or read official climate overviews via the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

We cannot do this. Tibet, as the core area of the 'Water Tower of Asia,' directly or indirectly affects the survival and development of 1 to 2 billion people.

The United States, India, and Israel do these things because they are anti-human.

Therefore, this world is extremely complex. Bad people can unscrupulously violate humanitarian principles, while good people need to make decisions carefully and cautiously to avoid humanitarian crises.

I support building dams to prevent water from flowing to India. Part of the water resources should be redirected to flow through Pakistan and Bangladesh. The reason is simple: India has already crossed the red line. We can use a reciprocal approach. If India abandons the use of water resources as a weapon and normally fulfills water resource allocation, we can provide water normally.

Only part of your post that I disagree with is "zionists have lost europe". Europe has done nothing against Israel except virtue signal and it despises brown folks and Muslims far more than even present day Americans. I fear the recent European re militarization alongwith hard-right politics are the Zionists preparing for a future where they get backing of either a European or American military force in a future war, or both. Khair that's a problem 25 years in the future.

China has the right and is free to use water flow in Chinese lands as all other countries do. I don't know why the Indians are making a big fuss of China building the biggest hydro dam in Xizang as if China has no right and they should dictate constructions inside China , lol.
