Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

When the Iranian delegation arrived for the Islamabad Talks in early April, they arrived shortly after Larijani was killed by the Israelis and other senior members of the Iranian govt were on the target list. And by receiving the Iranian delegation personally in military combat uniform, Pakistan's Field Martial Asim Munir was signaling to Israel that Pakistan would kinetically respond to Israel if the guests were harmed. Even though Americans told the Israelis not to hurt the remaining leadership, Netanyahu could have ignored the Americans.
I believe the Pakistani enhanced presence in Saudi Arabia may one day be used to counter Israeli aggression on those countries who are/will be part of the emerging Pakistan-Turkey-Saudi Arabia led alliance in the Middle East.

So, what is the Iranian end game here? They don't want to fight, they don't want to give up, they don't want to go nuclear, they don't want to escalate...
What strategy is this?

Ride it out till Iran gets better terms during negotiations. Look at what Reuters is saying today: Fatigue and frustration in the American navy personnel deployed near Iran. That can't last for too long.

Well, I think a few Arabs like the Saudis also saw through the Israeli plan and that their real agenda in the war was to get the Iranians and GCC to fight and decimate each other, leaving Israel as the regional hegemon. Trump and the Americans were too dumb to realize this. The Saudi restraint foiled the Israeli plan.

You know I am not a big fan of the Saudis but credit should be given where due.
Ok I get your point, but another valid point that remains relevant here is that irrespective of what Israeli plans were(to get Arabs in GCC and Iran to fight each other), Arab GCC countries made a big error, that warranted and earned Iranian retaliation, by supporting US military operations against Iran in this war. With or without Israel in the picture ,blockhead gulfies earned Iranian wrath, so that is a separate GCC - Iran issue, which GCC gulfies must atone for and correct their behavior.

It is wise of Iran to wait it out until Cheetoman loses the wind in his political sails in the mid-term elections. Keeping gas prices high at the pump, and high inflation, will do the rest.

Irans reaction to Beirut being attack will depend on their drone and missile stocks and how quick they are replenishing them.

I do find it odd both China and Russia have said Irans not requested any help, either this is to hide help or Irans confident in its own ability to rearm.

Of course, the GCC fools walked into an Israeli trap with this war and only a few of them realized it early enough and changed course. To be fair, the Americans were fooled as well and I doubt Trump's ego will let him realize how much he was conned by Netanyahu.

U.S. and Israel testing how serious Iran is on redlines under Mojtaba and Vahidi.

Multiple times the Arab countries had tried to fight Israel but it was a vain effort because they would be fighting a Superpower. All the GCC countries tried to help the Palestinians in the past but resigned to just stay away from the Israel-Palestine conflict in last few decades. It was a futile cause. So those countries instead built great wealth and prosperity as being part of the Pax Americana. We can't blame them especially if we see what happened to Libya, Iraq and Syria.
But, going forward, major realignment is happening. I believe Netanyahu's very arrogant and stupid decision to attack Qatar was the turning point, just like Modi's stupid war on Pakistan in May 2025 became a turning point for Pakistan. Pakistan is well placed to use its military power to counter Israeli aggression on those Arab countries who'd join a Pakistan alliance. Turkey is likely to be part of that alliance.
You will see this realignment coming up by no later than early 2027.
Not true. The arabs never gave it a serious effort..they were never cood at fighting anyway
