Will Francesco be present again in Geneva to make last minute changes to the text I wonder? I don't see why Geneva is more suitable than Islamabad, if anything the Europeans should be excluded entirely.

To me that is odd. Why? Makes little sense esp given security issues getting there for the Iranian delegation?

Probably wanted it in the heart of Europe, because it would be extra humiliating, and signal that even America's friends want Trump to sign the damn deal which, if the rumors are correct, favor Iran.

I think *more* air defence rather than better.

Iran's SHORAD systems (Majid, Ghaem-118) worked pretty well. downed dozens of JASSMs and other cruise missiles, 25+ US MQ-9s, an F-15, a F-35, an A-10, and others. but these systems didn't exist in large enough numbers considering the massive size of Iran (more than 2x the size of Turkey).

Iran's longer range systems never had a chance since they were taken out by FPV drones or ALBMs, so it is harsh to judge them for the faults of Iran's security services / air force.

Although deal is likely to be signed in Geneva, but it will be termed as the “Islamabad Agreement" as desired by President Trump himself. -sources

Geneva means the US will be able to spy on Iranians 100%, just like during the JCPOA negotiations. Don't know what's going on in the minds of Iranian leadership. Perhaps they have cracked under the stress.

Why is this signing in Geneva ?? All the mediation and negotiation legwork was done by Pakistan, with Turkey Qatar and few others assisting. The signing ceremony should be in Islamabad or Istanbul.

I'd have preferred that. But Islamabad was logically a long route and understandable after Vance's visit. Plus it is not beyond the Israelis to throw some last minute hitch and for the planning purposes Islamabad would be more difficult. Europe is sort of in the middle. Also, I hear, the agreement in Geneva is to be signed in the Pakistani Embassy (or consulate?) with named as 'Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding'. Iranians are thanking Pakistan for Pakistan's help by naming as such.
