It's not a ridiculous analysis, it is solid. However, I think it's very unlikely to happen because the more Israelis stay there, the more they will cement their air defense and logistics in the occupied territories. They withdrawn in 2006. And you can't compare a Russians size country with some hundreds of millions of people with a 6 millions Entity.
The reality It is Hizbollah kicked them out 20 years ago.

And with the weaponry It is the same. FPV and Kornets/Delvieh ATGM would come from Irán, China and even Russia, as they would prefer having Lebanon just between Tartus Port than just Israel and very weakened Syria.

2006 was a different situation whatsoever. The argument of size works both ways, smaller size means that air defense has an easier job to detect and shoot down the FPVs. The reality is that 20 years ago is irrelevant to today.

Iran can no longer support Hezbollah like it did before. For the starter, Syria is no longer in our hands, thanks to Turkey and Russia. Secondly, Iran is already licking her own wounds from the war. Russia is pro-Zionist and China has never directly transferred weapons to Hezbollah.
