They are testing, they are knowing Iran action/reactions.

Know those deterministic rules is what they need to know in order to plan future big provocations.

If i am not mistaken Israeli f35s have Israel equipment and software, not american. They are not connected to lockheed like the rest

See Iran intention was to warn ships that if they don't get permission from them they can not safely transit thru straits. Mission successful.

Americans are not prepare to pay the price needed to stop Iran from being able to threaten straits. A few ad hoc attacks are meaningless. So mission failed.

Cant see Americans putting boots on ground and taking lots of body bags to America. Even if they were prepare to do that by the time it would take to destroy Iran ability to threaten straits it would fuk the global economy.

No good outcome for America out of this.

Iran is once again getting cucked by the US somehow even faster than the JCPOA cucked them, lebanon has been split from the MOU the lebanese government would rather be occupied by israel than help its own people and oman has done everything in its power to rip apart the only leverage iran truly has in the negotiations.
