Problem with people like you is that no matter the evidence, you keep repeating your predictions. Analysts after analysts are saying that this war is a major debacle for America. I'd add to that if indeed the Petro Dollar is doomed then, yes, a strategic defeat of America. Until then, it is a debacle but no more than that. To rebut you: No, while I don't rule out that as long as the Trump/Netanyahu axis sits in power there won't be another major war. But I will make my own prediction: If today Trump has a heart attack and Vance becomes the POTUS, then you'd see a rapid drawdown of the American forces. I consider it not a war for America: I have long considered a war for Israel, done by a compromised POTUS Trump who maybe finally seeing his folly.

You have to ask yourself whats the objective of attacking Iran - for trump it was regime change, they failed. Trying to militarily weaken Iran didnt weaken Iran to the point where the US controls the SOH - so that failed. They also failed to disable a single missile city, that is Irans greatest defence and offense.

Most political scientists say if the US wants to control Iran they need a land invasion - and probably 1 million troops - good luck with that.

If land invasion is out of the picture, air war failed to achieve anything worth while and they spent significant missile stocks, the only other option is destabilising Iran through rebelion and other nefarious means. That is normally a long game which they played for nearly 50 years and failed.

Logically best option is to let diplomacy take action.

Also I cant see Europe getting involved in Iran - they are too worried about Russia.

My point before even this war began: This is a personal war. This is not a well thought out plan. It was the personality of Trump, due to a combination of factors in his personality, which has led to this war. People may look up a recent Hillary Clinton video where she is talking about how Netanyahu tried similar attempts to start full fledged war on Iran while she was in the US administration. Every American President had refused Netanyahu, and for good reasons, until Trump 2 Presidency. Let's not forget the personality factor: Years of Obama admin hard work on JCPOA was undone in a short time by Trump. Do people still think there are rational, cold calculated people sitting as the POTUS? No, I don't think so.

This was never America's war to begin with. And those here with predictions of another attack on Iran need to remember the context of this war.
