PSM is in early testing and is a short range missile. And JAASM they are referring to is the normal range one not JAASM-ER which is the one many bombers used to strike deep into Iran.

Patriot and THAAD are more important to US. If those run out or become critically low then airbases are all exposed. And once you start losing important aircraft the war of attrition bites a lot harder.

But all of this is a mute point because the operational capacity of depleting the U.S. oil reserve 6-8MBPD means there is going to be problems by mid September and an critical problem by Nov, if the strait stays in this condition of 20-30 ships passing thru it / day (from the 200+ pre war).

Iran knows this and is happy to sit in this low intensity warfare stage.

I agree the window for Pakistani intervention is shut now but I wouldn't term the current ululations (by Dar for example) so harshly. They have hit Busher nuclear site. Very close to 1000mw reactor, most probably a warning shot. If US has confirmed deaths in kuwaits as rumors suggest, they are going bomb Busher with heavy payloads dropped by B2 and B52s.

While this is true, the reformists are a product of popular backlash against social restrictions like mandatory hijab. After the assassination of general Soleimani people voted for the principlist Raisi. Raisi brought back the morality police and harrassed teenage girls on the streets over hijab. This created a massive backlash that resulted in the hijacked protests and return of the reformists.

If the principlists roll back the relaxation of hijab and other social issues there will be backlash again and people will be divided. The principlists can only blame themselves for the election of Pezeshkian, Rouhani etc. The man in the video does not sound like he learned this lesson.
