This time this was Iran who started the conflict after it started attacking civilian ships passing through Oman's side of Strait of Hormuz.

Weird though process, this is the continuation of one conflict started by the US. As far as the suffering of common Iranians goes, it will end if the US decides to stop killing them with bombs and sanctions. The obsession with trying to make Iran the aggressor here is astounding.

Hmm, there are only 6 of the GBU-57 MOP left out of the stockpile of 20, so yeah Trump can launch them at Pickaxe Mountain but Iranian underground bases and cities have proven invincible to American bombs so far.

I don't think they can actually destroy the facility, that's not my point. my point is that Trump boldly declares we will attack Iran every day and IRGC just wait for the attacks to come before thinking about what to do next.

by the time they decide what to do next, Mojtaba, Majid, Qalibaf, and Vahidi will be killed already and Iran will have no industries left, and it will be too late already.

Its clear Iran has not been able to set up deterrence, they will need to respond disproportionately, likely to those countries that are allowing their territories to attack Iran. If you take them of the chess board the US has limited means of attack (by sea or via Israel).

This is the crux of the matter, they might erode some more of Irans conventional forces but I dont think it will change the dial much and Iran will still hit ships in SOH that cross without its permission. Boots on the ground is only way really to try and stop that but then it comes at great risk and cost.

And remember article 5 from MOU says "with the applicable international law". So that is pointing this Teatry.

Oh right. That applies to within coastal waters of any given state.

But nowhere does it give one coastal state the right to attack civilian traffic within the coastal waters of another state sharing the same waterway.
