Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

[Kyussis]

I read an article where the Saudis tried to put the blame on the other Yemen government…….i didn’t want to go there but I pop in on other threads seeing what people are saying and I saw this long thing about how Saudi government tells no lies and are completely honorable

That sounds like our old friend _ARABIA_!

[ShapurII]

We should attack all of Kuwait and UAE water and electric infrastructures

That works only if we are willing to go all in.

Deterrence against the US will be established once thousands of body bags start to return to the American families and the Americans have to pay $10 dollars per gallon at gas stations. And for that to happen, Iran needs nuclear deterrence.

[ShapurII]

Still no reciprocal retaliation against water desalination plants in UAE and Qatar. The attack on the Chabahar port control tower should have been answered by targeting the same at jebel ali port. That went unanswered so will this.

The Islamic Republic has already normalized targeting our vital civilian infrastructure. The US knows it can send Iran back to the stone age, as Trump has recently reiterated again, and there will be zero consequences for Americans or Arabs.

[Persian Gulf]

Can we blame them? Is this the first time a belligerent state is committing war crimes in history? Even in modern history? Didn't the Shiite majority Iraq commit worse crimes against us?

The blame is on us for losing our deterrence. Not anybody else. Everything that is happening now could've been predicted with certainty when Trump assassinated Gen. Soleimani and all we did was a symbolic strike with prior warning to the Iraqis hours before launching it.

What happened to "Warships are dangerous, but more dangerous is the weapon that can sink them at the bottom of the sea."?
What happened to "If the Americans attack Iran, the initiation of the war will be by them but the termination of the war will be by us"?
What happened to "If the Israelis attack Iran, they will have no airports to land when they return"?

All these years we knew that we stood no chance against the US without nuclear weapons. And all these years we did nothing to acquire them and instead preferred to be the only state in the world that threatens and provokes Israel and the US every week.

IRGC generals were either deluded or lying for sure, but we can still document and criticise war crimes committed against Iranians to build a justification for reciprocal strikes.

More than 30 projectiles involved in Bahrain attack

Have you considered that once we are reciprocating their strikes and trying to go up the escalation ladder, the US may eventually decide to use nuclear weapons or blow up our power plants, dams, LNG plants, even medical supplies?

It's not like Trump hasn't already made tens of genocidal threats against Iran and our nation.

2-3 tankers/vessels are hit on a daily basis (on the Omani side).

this is a war against the world's military superpower, you don't win those, you only survive with a lot of damage (at best)

so the question is how to survive without total surrender or civil war / state collapse. you have to take risks and show balls, not try to respond in a calibrated fashion and engage in a war of attrition with a far more powerful enemy

This isn't enough if the US continues to hit our power stations in the south.
We have an issue that requires our immediate attention. This is not something that we postpone it to the future where oil prices are supposed to hit some hopeful number.

[Flotilla]

some speculation that these attacks were launched by Iraqi Resistance groups. some of them released a video saying they have thousands of soldiers and FPV drones ready to join the war.

A por ellos, que no quede ni uno!!!

[Oldenwisdom...قول بزرگ]

I didn't see Iran attack Israel much lately? Mostly Middle East?

After much bravado and posturing... they've gone all quiet. Unless they're maxed out and want to sit it out or they've been given a stand down... because they cannot be defended.
It isn't clear... they were projecting Iran with limited capacity... I think so far Iran has been spot on... still maintaining the escalation ladder.

what happened to responding to infrastructure strikes in kind? now we are denying them to avoid escalating, which only emboldens the US to continue these strikes.

Kuwait - 10 minutes ago

I am not sure this is real, should be darker than this in Kuwait at this time

Yes, I obviously agree with that. I am not talking about winning the war, I am talking about survival. If we cannot establish some red lines and some form of deterrence and they continue to hit our power plants, dams, medical supplies, LNG production sites, steel and aluminum factories, etc. we will have a complete state collapse in a short time, and it could very well be the end of Iran as well.

yes, these are dangerous times. industrialised countries can recover quicker than most people think, but better not to test that theory. IRGC is stuck between not wanting to escalate because it is playing a long oil game, and failing to establish deterrence as a result. I hope a better solution is pursued.
