The problem is that our missiles are hitting their targets but we do not know how to reestablish deterrence. The US doesn't care about getting its bases in Bahrain and Kuwait pounded.

Its just my opinion but i think we are seeing madman theory taking place in real time, if they had a few interceptors to spare one would think that they would be protecting the salti base in jordan at the very least where most of their f-35s and mq-4c were stationed but irani ballistic missiles appear to have pulverized that base not once but twice in the last few days.

I don't believe that's ever been the case. You don't spend billions building bases and even more effort staffing them just to abandon them in a conflict. The bases have been degraded but they remain staffed with US personnel. You can't run a war just from the air and neither from Florida.

It is possible that some US forces have been moved to more secret locations in the Gulf.

Jut nuke the US carrier strike groups. Tactical nukes will be more than enough for that. You don't need real-time satellite navigation. Just an approximate location would be enough.

Then pass the note to the Americans that if the US responds, Tel Aviv, Haifa, all Arab oil and gas infrastructure will be hit as well. And considering that we have already established our second strike capability with our deeply buried missile sites, the US would not risk nuclear Armageddon.

For as long as Pakistan cannot break the begging bowl(cheap loans, IMF bailouts, and "foreign remittances") and fixes its own local economy with real organic growth, it's chain will always be yanked by its masters ( hard on the nose for Pakistani's but true ). I had under-estimated how corrupt, compromised and dumb Mr Trump is. I believe he could walk straight into this trap as well. They already attempted a raid that went wrong ie that whole F15 shootdown and rescue saga from early April which was actually a Special Forces attack on Pickaxe Mountain.

Trump has already TACO'ed on the '20% fees'. It is Tuesday, alright! Elijah is not the same level as Chas Freeman but when it comes to the Middle East, he is second to none.: Completely dispassionate analyses all the time, telling bitter truth when applicable.
